Portable Heaters for Composite Curing
These mobile heaters are Caltherm’s only standard range, though they are tailored to each customer’s detail requirements.
The RNLI have two of these mobile heaters at their manufacturing and repair facility. Features include:
- Programable controller
- Controlled cooling via motorised dampers
- Flying-lead thermocouple to control oven temperature
- Flying-lead thermocouple for oven over-temperature protection
- Heat exchanger over-temperature protection
- Fan ammeter to balance fan load

Built for BMW Oracle Racing, this is one of two portable heaters that were transported around the world, with the yacht team, for the repair of composite damage during racing.
Mobile Heater to a Customer's Exact Requirement
Designed and built for PE Composites, two of these portable heaters have replaced existing units, replicating them exactly, so that PE Composites didn’t need to revalidate their process. The grilles show the controlled cooling dampers are open.
